1:00 AM – 1:00 PM | Sketch Session #1
- We will meet on the lawn area on the right side of the reflection pool near the Botanical Garden building
- Welcome and introduction by Jacqueline
- Warm-up sketching with thumbnails and initial value studies
- Jacqueline offers informal instruction and feedback throughout
1:00 – 1:45 PM | Break on “a” Lawn
- Food and drinks
- Social time and regroup before the second sketching session
1:45 – 3:15 PM | Sketch Session #2
- Second sketch location (e.g. Alcazar Garden behind Mengei Museum, Museum of Man courtyard, or Organ Pavilion)
- Focused sketching and optional deeper rendering techniques
- Jacqueline continues guidance based on participant interest
3:15 – 4:00 PM | Wrap-Up at The Prado
- Casual debrief and final drinks
- Opportunity to share sketches, connect, and reflect on the day
ABOUT JACQUELINE GOLD:
Jacqueline Gold is a fine artist and arts educator with an MFA in Painting from Laguna College of Art + Design and classical training from The Florence Academy of Art in Italy. She currently teaches full time at John Paul the Great Catholic University. Her teaching includes illustration, fine art, portfolio development, and critique.
