The webinar will discuss

  • The Landscape Architects License Sunset Review timeline.
  • What Legislators who sit on the Assembly and Senate Business and Professions Committees will discuss in the Spring regarding licensure continuing for landscape architects and architects.
  • How to Build Relationships with State Legislators.
  • How to Schedule a District Office meeting with your Legislators.
  • How to engage with legislators to build long term relationships and help them understand the value of landscape architecture to communities to address climate change, environmental justice, native landscape restoration/native interface (wildfires), heat island reduction, urban forests, wildlife habitat (Monarch butterfly migration and benefits of milkweed), water conservation and aesthetic design and why licensure of the profession protects consumers.
