๐ŸŒฟ Announcing our 2025 Tracy Morgan Hollingworth Community Grant Recipients!

Weโ€™re proud to award California Native Plant Society โ€“ San Diego and Wild Ones San Diego with this yearโ€™s community grants, funded through our Annual Golf Tournament. โ›ณ๏ธ๐Ÿ’š

CNPSโ€“San Diego works to protect and celebrate our regionโ€™s incredible native plants through conservation, science, gardening, and community education. Their grant will help enhance the Bird Park wing area with native plants, interpretive signage, and new opportunities for learning and community involvement.

Wild Ones San Diego is a volunteer-led organization helping residents plant native flora that support local wildlife, offering free seeds, seedlings, and planting guidance at events. Their grant will support the new Massachusetts Avenue Community Pocket Park in La Mesa โ€” a native-plant oasis featuring a footpath, seating, educational signage, a water feature, and a little library for books and native seed swaps.

Congratulations to both recipients! Stay tuned for updates on these inspiring community projects throughout the year. ๐ŸŒฑโœจ
