DESCRIPTION:ASLA 1st Annual Art Show\nArt Entry Guidelines – Enter by April 27\nArt Show – May 13 – OBR Architecture\nEntry Guidelines Below\nPrint Event Flyer HERE \nASLA San Diego has partnered with OBR Architecture to highlight the artistic and creative endeavors of local landscape architects. \nOur profession consists of curious\, critically thinking\, idea driven place-makers and it’s our responsibility to honor our creative side. Join ASLA\, Saturday\, May 13 during the Ray at Night Festival for our first art show hosted by OBR Architecture. \nASLA San Diego is accepting submissions from all landscape design professionals\, regardless of membership status. Submission criteria are listed below. \nSubmission Rules \n\nAll art submissions must include a photo of the art work\, title\, brief description\, overall dimensions and medium.\nOne piece from the show will be donated to OBR Education\, a Non-profit\, for a charity auction in November 2017. Please indicate your willingness to donate your art piece to this wonderful charity. Please note willingness to participate in this charity is not a requirement for submission.\nAll two-dimensional work must be in display condition and ready for hanging. Please include any special display instructions with the submission.\nPlan graphics\, details\, and sections of any current or past projects will not be considered.\nThree-dimensional work will be considered\, however the artist must provide a pedestal for the work to be displayed on.\nOnly original work may be submitted. Reproductions of works originally created in media other than digital formats or photography will not be considered.\nSubmissions must be received for consideration before noon on April 27th. Send photos and all submission information to John Avila at avila@urbanarena.com.\nAll work must be submitted to the Urban Arena office on May 10th between 8am and 5pm.\nAll work will be available for pick up at the Urban Arena office on June 9th between 8am and 12pm.\nArtists may appoint a friend or other agent to drop-off and/or pick-up works if they are unable to do these tasks themselves. DESCRIPTION:RSVP by Fri\, April 14\n\nRSVP LINK \n\nANOVA SKETCH CRAWL\n\nSat\, April 15 – 11 am to 4 pm\nMeet at 11 am at Stella Public House\n1429 Island Ave\, San Diego\, CA 92101\n\n\nOn Saturday April 15th\, Anova Furnishings presents the 2nd Annual SD ASLA Sketch Crawl.   Attendees who RSVP by Friday morning will be sent an Uber code to pay for your trip to and from Stella Public House downtown.\n\nLandscape Architect and Artist\, Craig Stoffel of the award winning national firm Hord | Coplan | Macht will be leading us in an explorative afternoon of interacting with our downtown urban San Diego environment\, fellow professionals\, ink and sketch pad. The crawl will kick off at Stella Public House in downtown San Diego at 11 am (print THIS FLYER for details).\n\nWe would like to extend a special thanks to Anova Furnishings once again for sponsoring this day of merriment and creativity.\n\nLast year’s Sketch Crawl (see photos below) was a huge success that inspired the participants to carve out time for reconnecting with the basic enjoyment of drawing.\n\n
