DESCRIPTION:The next Emerging Professionals meeting will be held October 25th\, here at GMP from 6 – 8 pm. Address is 4010 Sorrento Valley Blvd\, Suite 200. \nThis is going to be a VERY exciting meeting\, on a topic that has been requested by you! \nResume building and portfolio construction/management: \n\nWhat do those future employers want to see on your resume\, or in your portfolio?\nWhat is considered the proper etiquette for using work samples from your current employer?\nNow that you are out of school\, should you still use those academic projects?\nHow do I make my portfolio or resume stand out graphically?\n\nAll of those are valid questions and important ones to know the answers to! We have reached out to principals at landscape architecture firms all across the state and have their words of wisdom to share with you\, along with a few brief tutorials in photoshop for those of you who are interested in sprucing up some of your renderings or are looking for a way to boost the graphics on your resume layout. There will be refreshments served\, and for those of you have been coming to our meetings this year – you know we always have a good time!
