• Positions available: Part Time Landscape Designer
JPBLA, Inc., is a small-sized, award-winning landscape architecture firm located in Encinitas, CA. We are currently offering a part-time Landscape Designer position for an individual with a minimum of AutoCAD 2004 and Photoshop CS2 experience. Qualified Landscape Designer candidates:

  • Must have a thorough understanding of the complete design process from conceptual design through construction administration.
  • Must possess at least 1 year of professional design experience pertaining to the origination or modification of landscape architectural construction documents.
  • Must be able to produce base sheets from scanned documents and legal descriptions.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of CAD drafting practices, techniques and procedures.
  • Must possess good drawing organization, attention to detail and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to produce landscape architectural construction documents based on verbal, written, or graphic instructions from Architect or Designer
  • Must be able to produce or modify existing landscape architectural drawings with minimal supervision and on project deadlines.
  • Must be able to review construction documents for quality assurance prior to delivery.
  • Must be able to coordinate with consultants from different disciplines in relation to the project at hand.
  • Must have great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2004 or higher and Photoshop CS2 is required.
