The San Diego ASLA Stewardship Committee will be hosting an educational event on April 30 at Silver Gate Yacht Club on Shelter Island.

This Storm Water Management and Creative Low Impact Development event, is a follow-up event to the storm water management programs from previous years.

  • Stephanie Gaines from the County of San Diego will give us an update on the latest storm water management regulations.
  • Hear from expert witnesses regarding how LID, and bio-retention BMP’s have been implemented, what works and what doesn’t.
  • Hear about local case studies and pilot projects that are researching differing bio-retention media.

We will end the event with a waterfront happy hour! Join us for a fun and educational event!

See flyer here. To register for the event, go our Event Registration Site.

The Stewardship Committee is committed to advancing awareness and exposure of the sustainable practices that San Diego Landscape Architects contribute to our local environment.
